Hon. Vinoy Kumar Choubey, Commissioner of Police, Pimpri Chinchwad, initiated a health and wellness guidance program for police officers and police amaldar of Pimpri Chinchwad Commissionerate on 1/11/2025 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Shri. Balaji University, Pune. Shri. Vinoy Kumar Choubey, Commissioner of Police, guided the attendees on diet and health. He also felicitated the chief guide, Dr. Jagannath Dixit, a diabetes dietician, and started the program. To make the program effective, the police officers and police amaldar were medically examined to guide them regarding their health and wellness. In this guidance program, Dr. Jagannath Dixit, a diabetes and diet expert, guided the officers and Amaldar of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate on the precautions to be taken regarding diet habits, exercise, etc. to stay healthy. He also answered the questions of the attendees and cleared their doubts. 600 officers and police Amaldar of the Police Commissionerate were present. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mrs. Shweta Khedkar concluded the program with a vote of thanks.

Under the visionary initiative of Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Shri Vinay Kumar Choubey, a job fair was organized today at S.N.B.P. International School, Rahatani, Pune, as part of the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s 100-day action plan. This job fair was specially arranged for the children of current and former officers and personnel of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate, with the aim of providing them with employment opportunities. While carrying out his daily responsibilities, Commissioner Shri Vinay Kumar Choubey has upheld his commitment as the head of the police family by taking this thoughtful initiative for the welfare of police families. The event was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Police Commissioner Shri Vinay Kumar Choubey, Shri Vasant Pardeshi (Additional Commissioner of Police), Dr. Shivaji Pawar (Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 3), Shri Vishal Gaikwad (Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 2), and Shri Sunil Kurade (Assistant Commissioner of Police). The job fair saw participation from 37 reputed companies, including Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj, Hyundai, and Lumax, among others. Around 250 children of police personnel attended the event. Many candidates were selected on the spot, while others qualified for the second, third, and fourth rounds of interviews. Shri Vishal Gaikwad, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 2, delivered the welcome address, and Shri Dr. Shivaji Pawar, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone 3, presented the vote of thanks.

The police force is always ready to maintain law and order, but due to the stress of work and physical and mental fatigue, police officers and civil servants do not get time to pay attention to themselves. Often, police officers and civil servants have to be on duty for 24 hours, due to which health problems arise for the police and various diseases arise. For this, a police dispensary has been operationalized in the Kaveri Nagar Police Colony, Wakad within the limits of Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate. The said well-equipped police dispensary was inaugurated by Hon. Police Commissioner Shri Vinay Kumar Chaubey on 13/12/2024.

Gym Inauguration Ceremony To address the increasing health issues faced by police officers and personnel due to daily duties and work-related stress, Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissioner Mr. Vinoy Kumar Choubey conceptualized various initiatives to ensure their well-being. As part of this vision, a well-equipped gym was established at Wakad Police Station for the benefit of police officers and personnel. Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Mr. Vishal Gaikwad (Zone 2) and Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mr. Sunil Kurade (Wakad Division), the Senior Police Inspector of Wakad Police Station, Mr. Nivrutti Kolhatkar, efficiently planned and executed the development of this state-of-the-art gym. The inauguration ceremony of this gym was held on March 20, 2025, and was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Vinay Kumar Choubey, Police Commissioner, Pimpri-Chinchwad, who officially inaugurated the facility. The event was also attended by DCP Vishal Gaikwad (Zone 2), DCP Bapu Bangar (Traffic), DCP Dr. Shivaji Pawar (Zone 3), DCP Vivek Patil (Headquarters), Senior Police Inspector Nivrutti Kolhatkar, Senior Police Inspectors Neeta Gaikwad/Khandare (Crime), Police Inspector Suhas Chavan, Police Sub-Inspector Aniruddha Savarde, along with other police officers, personnel, responsible citizens, and members of the press.
