"Northeast Community Connect" initiative

As per the directions of the Director General of Police, Maharashtra State, the "Northeast Community Connect" initiative was implemented at Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate on Republic Day, 26th January 2026. Citizens of North East India residing in the limits of Pimpri Chinchwad Commissionerate for business and education were invited to the Police Commissionerate Office and various police stations. 78 citizens of North East India were present for the flag hoisting program at Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate and police stations. Overall, the "Northeast Community Connect" initiative was successfully implemented at Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate and has been helpful in strengthening the sense of trust, security and belonging in the society among the students of the North Eastern state.
