Police Rest House at Dehuroad

On February 6, 2025 The Bhoomipujan ceremony for the Police Rest House at Dehuroad was held today at the hands of Hon’ble Chief Minister and Home Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of Pune District, Shri Ajit Pawar and other dignitaries . The Police Rest House at Dehuroad Police Post is being constructed under the Dehu Pilgrimage Development Plan, with a sanction of ₹11 crores . It will provide essential accommodation facilities for the police personnel deployed during the Sant Tukaram Maharaj and Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi Processions, attracts lakhs of Warkari devotees each year.
